Canadian label founded in 1974 by Gary Salter. IGM held the Canadian rights for many European labels including Hansa and Jupiter Records. In the late 1970s they purchased Thunder Sound to provide unlimited recording time for their artists. Alan Caddy was A&R and an in-house producer, becoming VP of A&R in September 1978. John J. Williams was brought on as Executive VP in 1978. The label went defunct in 1979. Distributed in Canada by CBS Records Canada Ltd. / CBS Disques Canada Ltée.
