Настоящее имя: Crewzine
Crewzine, based in Bratislava, Slovak Republic, started its activities around the years 1991/1992 as a magazine dedicated to genres like EBM, industrial, darkwave, synth-pop... First few issues were published in two languages, Slovak and English. Later only English version was published. The driving forces behind Crewzine were Richard Gürtler (also known as "Antius"), Roman Petro ("Ergo"), Peter Dubravík ("Abortion") and Lubo Požgay ("Chainsaw"). 8 issues were published during the existence of Crewzine, the last one appeared in 1995. Soon after that Crewzine decided to stop its publishing activities from various reasons, but mainly from financial problems. Crewzine was known also as a mail-order catalogue covering above mentioned genres, but later more specialized in dark industrial and ambient. Crewzine mail-order catalogue was functional until 1999. Crewzine also released several tapes, mainly by Slovak projects Einleitungszeit, Morbid Fancy and Ergo's two projects, Gaping Chasm and Anima Mundi. Richard, one of the Crewzine leaders, is now active as a big fan and collector of CDs in ambient, tribal and deep space genre.
