Kébec-Disc
Настоящее имя: Kébec-Disc
Also appears as "KD" or "Kébec Disc". Also known as "Kébec Disque", and many releases will have both labels/companies written on them.
Label founded in Montréal in 1974 by Guy Latraverse under the parent company Kébec-Disc Inc. Gilles Talbot took over as President in 1976 until his death in March 1982, upon which Kébec-Disc Inc. closed down. After the closing, Trans-Canada Musique Service continued to release recordings under the label Kébec-Disc (or Kébec-Disque). Ceased its activities in 1990.
In Québec Diskade (a subsidiary of Kébec-Disc Inc.) and Trans-Canada Musique Service Inc. distributed the Kébec-Disc catalogue - except for the LP Starmania, which was handled by Solo Distribution; in Paris the catalogue was represented by RCA, which looked after most releases in France, Switzerland, and Belgium.
