Metrobeat was a Minneapolis-based rock label founded in 1967. The label's final release was in 1976. Metrobeat was owned and operated by Mike Jann, a longtime friend and associate of the The Trashmen, along with a one-time Trashmen booker, David Anthony. (Additional info-nugget: the label's drumkit logo was designed by songwriter Larry LaPole.)
