Also known as Les Disques CTI du Canada Ltée. Incorporated May 28, 1973. Started operations on July 2, 1973 to manufacture and distribute CTI product in Canada, including the Kudu and Salvation (4) imprints. Originally headed by Lou Munson from CTI Records head office in US. The corporation was dissolved December 16, 1980.
Manufacturing was done in both Toronto and Montréal, with Montréal (Lachine) acting as central warehouse and distribution location. Manufacturing of Canadian CTI releases was simultaneous with US releases.
Previously CTI was handled in Canada by Quality Records Limited which used white labels. During the vinyl shortage in 1975 Canadian CTI releases were manufactured by Columbia in the the US and were shipped to Canada until December 1975 when Quality took over the pressing. In March 1977 RCA Limited took over the manufacturing and distribution of CTI/Kudu.
For a short period was also the Canadian distributor for Bob Shad's Mainstream Records.
