Arco (2)
Настоящее имя: Arco (2)
Short lived label operated by American Record Company (2), please do not mix up this one with American Record Company (commonly known as ARC) or with one of the later labels by the same name.
Founded by Irving Berman in late 1949, following the closure of his Manor Record Company. Pete Rugolo served as Arco's musical director. Much of the Arco catalog consisted of reissues of Manor and Regis releases, but some new recordings were made. Berman also purchased rights to masters from outside sources, such as calypso recordings from Moses Asch's Disc Records label and Volumes 2 and 3 of Norman Granz Presents Jazz At The Philharmonic series.
