Goldmine Tapes

Goldmine Tapes is a German, Thuringia-based Hip-Hop Mixtapelabel founded back in 1997 by DJ Shame and DJ Légères in Jena. The Founder's idea was to create a pan-Thuringia platform to publish and market local memberreleases and offer a central booking possibility. The label's roster featured most of active and well-known thuringia DJ’s in the movement of underground Hip-Hop. The releases below have been distributed by relevant local record and streetwear retailers, e.g. Goldmine Store/Weimar, Orange Jungle Erfurt/Jena, Schwarzmarkt/Gera, Woodstock/Erfurt and much more. Further by mailorders like Frontline and On The Run (MZEE). But the biggest part have been given to the people by the DJ’s and on their appearances itself.
