The American producer's name is synonymous with recording of southern blues musicians who would profoundly influence the direction of modern blues. Such artists as Lightning Slim and Lazy Lester or works such as Slim Harpo's "I'm a King Bee" and "Rainin' In My Heart," that would later be covered by The Rolling Stones and Neil Young respectively. He worked out of his Master Trak Studio in Crowley, LA (see also his son Mark Miller (2) and Master-Trak Enterprises) and also recorded on the Reb Rebel label.
