Established in August 1986, originally under the name Taby Record Station. The founder is Marie Ledin, wife of Tomas Ledin, who was also involved in the music industry. The label came under the ownership of BMG Ariola AB in the late 1980s. However, the record company continues to use the barcode system that begins with 7 391661 XXXXXX until around 1993/94. Marie continues to work with BMG until 1995, and she left the company to establish Anderson Records AB, which was named after her father.
The albums comes with the code STAT XX and STATCD XX (some releases had the spacing between STAT and CD) for LP and CD releases, respectively. For albums that bears code under STAT 10, there are no leading zeroes.
