Mid-South Record Pressing Company

Nashville record pressing company from 1965-1968/9. After GRT Corporation was formed in June 1969 it acquired Mid-South in the buyout of Chess Records. It eventually became GRT Record Pressing. It still operated under the name "Mid-South" as a division of GRT into the early 1970's. This is seen in a 1972 lawsuit (link below) concerning the pressing quality of Free Spirit Movin'. Pressing ring size - 28.5mm.
