Stengade 30

Small Copenhagen venue focusing primarily on indie, reggae, world music, and punk. With a focus on upcoming bands and DJ's Stengade 30 has some 250 events a year. Situated in the Nørrebro district, just as nearby Ungdomshuset it has been essential to the autonomous society in Copenhagen. The name Stengade 30 is the street address of the original location, established as a music venue in 1973,. That building was condemned as part of a renovation program for the Nørrebro area of Copenhagen during the 1980's, and Stengade 30 is since then located at the nearby address Stengade 18. Starting in 1997 also the location for Danish label April Records club events, April Club.
