P.M. Magazin
Настоящее имя: P.M. Magazin
German popular-scientific magazine, founded in 1978. The first issue was published on October 4, 1978 by publishing house Gruner + Jahr.
Name origin: The magazine name P.M. Magazin is an abbreviation of "Peter Moosleitners (interessantes) Magazin", a subtitle for the magazine during 1978 to 2014.
Trivia: A "Peter Moosleitner" never existed. In 1976, Rolf Poppe, executive at Gruner + Jahr gave the task to Gerhard Moosleitner to create a new magazine. In 1978, when there was a search for the title, Poppe assumed, Moosleitners first name was Peter. Due to the legal singularity of the abbreviation P.M. the name was never changed later. Moreover, Gerhard Moosleitner adopted the name "Peter Moosleitner" as an alias.
