Disel S.A.
Настоящее имя: Disel S.A.
Short for Disc Electronic, Société Anonyme. Record company based in Brussels (Belgium) that represented RCA in Belgium, the Netherlands and France between 1954 and 1957. The company was a front set up by Eugène Willy Pelgrims de Bigard, who had secured the contract with RCA after their partnership with His Master's Voice ended, but who through Fonior already represented RCA's competitor Decca. Even though discs state "Made in Belgium by Disel S.A.", pressing actually took place in Fonior's pressing plant S.A. Fabeldis. In the Netherlands distribution was handled by affiliate company Dureco N.V. In 1957 RCA struck a deal with the newly founded Inelco and Disel ceased activities.
