Magnatune

Magnatune was founded by John Buckman in April 2003 and is located in Berkeley, California. It is a "next-generation record label" with an almost unique business model regarding licensing, marketing, distribution and royalty payments. Catering for a wide range of genres and sub-styles, music may be previewed, streamed and purchased in a variety of formats such as WAV, MP3 (128kbps, VBR), FLAC, OGG, AAC.
