x1981x Records was an American independent record label founded by Cliff Wiener and Alex Kenny. The company was originally founded under the name x1981x Clothing in 2004, as an imprint of Wiener and Kenny's record label Undecided Records. When Undecided Records folded in early 2006, all of the straight-edge bands were transferred over to x1981x Records, while the non-straight-edge bands were transferred over to 567 Records. x1981x Records signed To This Day, Represent, Suffocate Faster, Never Again, HoldFast, Braveheart and In It To Win It. Although the record label portion of x1981x has ceased to release music since 2009, the clothing company continues to do business making straight-edge and vegan themed apparel. Wiener and Kenny also setup the Bringin' It Back For The Kids Fest in 2011 and 2012.
