National Museum Of American History

The National Museum Of American History (NMAH), formally "National Museum of American History: Kenneth E. Behring Center," is an American museum dedicated to the United States heritage in social, political, cultural, scientific, and military history, established in 1964 and located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The museum is part of the Smithsonian Institution and was known as National Museum Of History And Technology between 1964 and 1980.
