Suomen Mediamusiikki Oy

A Finnish record company, founded when Ari Oinonen bought the majority of MTV-Musiikki in 1999. MTV still owns 15% of the company. The name of the company is Suomen Mediamusiikki Oy, while the label is named simply Mediamusiikki In September 2013 Sony Music Finland bought the entire back catalogue of Suomen Mediamusiikki Oy, with all the rights to the recordings handed over to Sony Music.
