Enigma Supercut
Настоящее имя: Enigma Supercut
This is a series indicator, not a label.
Enigma Supercuts were a series issued in the UK in the late 1970s. Primarily designed as a marketing tool, appealing specifically to classical music aficionados who demanded good quality pressings, it should not be confused with the Nimbus Supercuts that were available around the same time, and which are a genuine limited edition audiophile product.
'Pure and natural depth from honest sound recording'
'It is rare to find faithful recordings of the classics. Enigma's recording methods achieve a true classical sound and capture the subtle balance of performance the composer intended. Enigma Supercut records are mastered and pressed in West Germany from original Enigma tapes for reproduction of the highest international quality' (Advertising puff from September 1979).
