Hala Records

1960s country label from Nashville, Tennessee. HALA Records was a venture between CMA Hall Of Fame Manager Hubert Long (the H &L in the label name) & JJ Cale producer Audie Ashworth (the A & A in the label name). They used the label to see if DJ's would program their records & if they could get several stations playing their artists they would approach major labels with offers to sell the masters & sign the act.
