QCA, Inc.

Record company originally named Queen City Album, Inc. and shortened to "QCA, Inc." in 1977. Parent company of the record company QCA Records, Inc. (owning the label QCA Records), the recording and mastering studios QCA Studios as well as the mastering, plating and pressing division QCA Custom Pressing. QCA was founded by Edward R. Bosken in the early '50s as a printer of album jackets for the new LP format which was rapidly replacing the 78s of that time. Soon the company installed complete facilities for record graphics and vinyl manufacturing. In the early '80s QCA began with cassette manufacturing and later also expanded into complete CD and DVD services. The company is still active.
