Budget label of MGM Records, sometimes appears as Metro only. Output starts in the late 1950s with a catalog of rock and vocal singles, and a few proprietary releases on the scant 300 LP series. Repurposed in 1962 with a 500/600 number series; primarily focused to issue rechanneled, condensed 10-track LP versions of previous titles from MGM. .
