Thai glass mastering plant, active from June 21st 1996. It was 50% owned by Dyntec Disc and located at the same address. Legal name: ยูนิเวอร์แซล มาสเตอริ่ง จำกัด / Universal Mastering Co. Ltd. Universal Mastering can be identified through the specific matrix pattern UMaa-bbbb. aa = two digits indicating a year in the Buddhist calendar. (1999 = 42, 2009 = 52, 2019 = 62, and so on) bbbb = unique id, possibly a production number. The mastering SID code often used by this facility is LK29. The mould SID codes 9503, 9504 and 9505. are commonly found on discs with UM. These identify the pressing plant. How to credit Universal Mastering: - Use role 'Glass Mastered At' - Enter UMaa-bbbb as catalog number UM is often seen in conjunction with: - DDA, DDV, DDVA, DDR or DDRX. In that case add a 'Pressed By' credit for Dyntec Disc. - MELONDISC. In that case add a 'Manufactured By' credit for Melon Disc. See for example Wonderful Life.
