Brazilian label, created by Nilo Sergio, active between the end of 1952 and 1971.
AKA Hi-Fi Musidisc
Not to be confused with Musidisc, which, for currently unknown reasons, features the same brand.
Launched in November 1952 (the label was going to be called Musidisk, but the journalist Sylvio Tullio Cardoso found the name too Teutonic and suggested Musidisc), released its first album in December: Datas Felizes with Léo Peracchi E Sua Orquestra.
The label was under the control of:
- Gravações Musidisc Ltda. (between December 1954 and November 1962)
- Gravações Musidisc S.A. (between November 1962 and 1971)
May appear associated with foreign labels such as MGM Records or Pye Records.
