"Marvellous Melakarta Melodies" series By S. Balachander. A project which took around 6 years to complete. Each album contains 6 ragas from the 72 raga melakarta scheme. (6*12 = 72) Albums 1,3,5,7,9 and 11 are all Suddha-Mahdyama Ragas while Albums 2,4,6,8,10 and 12 are all Prati-Mahdyama Ragas It was re-released on cassette but is very hard to find. It was re-released on CD's by Saregama/RPG with the catalog numbers: (CDNF 157103-157110) 8 volumes
