Womad Festival, New Zealand

Festival founded in 2003 as a sibling event to WOMAdelaide Festival in Australia. Originally in Auckland as part of the "WOMAD express" and then held bi-annually until 2011 when it moved to New Plymouth, Taranaki and then held annually from 2013. Some earlier one-off day events were also held in the 1990s.
