Time Warner & Sony Music Sound Exchange

Joint direct-marketing venture of Time Warner Music and Sony Music, an outgrowth of Time Warner Music Sound Exchange, created to sell "music and other merchandise through catalogs and...music magazines that feature direct selling of recordings." Time Inc. eventually consolidated with American Family Publishing and closed the music catalog business, and the assets were sold to the Genesis Direct direct-marketing organization.
