Cie Française Du Gramophone

Cie Française Du Gramophone (Compagnie Française du Gramophone) was a French subsidiary company of The Gramophone Co. Ltd. established in 1899. Its head office was based in Boulevard Haussmann in Paris with a factory first in Ivry and then at Nogent-Sur-Marne. In 1936 Electric & Musical Industries Ltd. (EMI) (owner of The Gramophone Co. Ltd.) effects a merger of Compagnie Francaise De Gramophone with Compagnie Générale de Etablissements Pathé Fréres (French subsidiary of Columbia Graphophone Company Ltd.) to form Les Industries Musicales Et Electriques Pathé Marconi
