Sony DADC, Pitman
Настоящее имя: Sony DADC, Pitman
Former CD/DVD manufacturer in Pitman, New Jersey, closed down March 2011.
Predecessor of this plant was DADC, Pitman (until approx. 2005).
Discs pressed at this plant between 2005-2011 can be identified by Mould SID Code IFPI 72**.
CDs mastered at this plant include Mastering SID Codes IFPI L422 (2005) and IFPI L424 (2005-2011).
Sony DADC, Pitman CD matrix pattern:
[DADC code] [letter+number] [number+letter] [2-digit number]
(example DIDX-238957 L4 1A 01)
[DADC code] contains a 4-letter prefix and a 6-digit sequential number separated by a hyphen.
DIDP/CTDP/CPTP numbers should generally be higher than 121000*
DIDX/CPDX numbers should generally be higher than 115000*
CTDX/CPTX numbers should generally be higher than 002000*
*Indicates August 2005 or later release, approximately when plant became Sony DADC (reissues of older CDs usually have much lower numbers).
[letter+number] is either K2, K4 or L4:
K indicates glass masters made between 2005-2009
L indicates glass masters made between 2009-2011
Number corresponds to the last digit of mastering SID (2=IFPI L422, 4=IFPI L424).
[number+letter] is usually 1A (first master by plant)
[2-digit number] indicates a glass master number (01=first master, 02=second, 03=third, etc.)
Please note that same DADC codes were also used by Sony DADC, Terre Haute, which can be identified by different matrix patterns and SID codes.
