Warren Music Center Studios is one of various sound recording and engineering facilities at the Department of Music at the University of California, San Diego. The studio was completely refurbished in 2004-2005 and serves as a main facility for recording and mastering classical and contemporary music, a listening space, and faculty workshop for research in psychoacoustics, computer music and digital signal processing. Warren Studios incorporates two large recording studios (50' x 60') with variable wall and floor surfaces, and a control room with ATC surround sound monitors and fully-digital mixing and editing systems, including Pyramix and ProTools HD. The studio offers a selection of microphones, pianos, percussion, and electronic instruments.
