Deathlike Silence Productions
Настоящее имя: Deathlike Silence Productions
Deathlike Silence Productions was an Oslo, Norway based independent record label founded in the late 1980s. It was run by Euronymous, the former guitarist of the black metal band Mayhem, until he was murdered by Varg Vikernes of Burzum in 1993.
It released a total of 9 albums only.
Beginning around this time Voices Of Wonder Records began to handle the printing and distribution of many DSP releases.
Note: All original first press DSP records produced on CD directly by Euronymous and Hellhammer through DURECO in Holland between 1989 and 1994 comes without IFPI.
Curiosity: Burzum's first album "Burzum" released first time in March 1992 on CD, Vinyl "Burzum" released first time in May 1992 and Merciless (2)' "The Awakening" on Vinyl released in 1989 are the only 3 records distributed directly by Euronymous' Inner Circle instead of Voices Of Wonder Records.
The majority of DSP releases had "Anti-Mosh" catalog numbers, although some did have "anti-mosh" or "ANTI-MOSH" -- some releases were inconsistant with this over various elements of the packaging as well.
