Discos Y Cartuchos De Mexico, S.A.
Настоящее имя: Discos Y Cartuchos De Mexico, S.A.
Discos y Cartuchos de México (record company, manufacturing and distribution facilities, with its label DCM) was created in the early 60s in Mexico by Ignacio (Nacho) Morales (previously manager of the RCA’s label Vik in Mexico).
In the mid/late-70s (1976?), to support challenge made by the huge success of Rigo Tovar, Nacho Morales changed the name to Discos Y Cintas Melody, S.A. (still manufactured some DCM records, before creating label Melody), and in the late 80s the company was sold to Fonovisa.
Sometimes abbreviated to DCM, S. A..
