Scoring Stage Babelsberg

The former Studio A of Studio Babelsberg with an area of 3700sqft (350m²) and a height of 39ft (12m) was built in the 1930s for the UFA-Sinfonieorchester, hosted the DEFA-Sinfonieorchester and since December 2007 the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg. Between 1993 and 2007 it was restored and equipped to match today’s standards both technically and acoustically. During this time the orchestra had its headquarter at Scoring Stage Berlin.
