Hilltop Recording Studios

Hilltop Recording Studios was founded in 1963 on a four acre "country side" site in Nashville, Tennessee, by Jack Linneman. Jack had been an engineer for many years at Starday-King Records, Inc., but left Starday to build Hilltop. When constructed, the building was built from the ground up as a recording studio. John Nicholson (4), an engineer at Hilltop since 1980, purchased the property in 1994, and owned it until 2013, when he sold it to Virginia Dreams LLC.
