Easy Sound Studio

Danish recording studio in Copenhagen. Not to be confused with Easy Sound Studios in Cologne (Germany). Also appears as : - Easy Sound - Easy Sounds Studio - Easy Sound Studios - Easy Sound Recording - Easy Sound Recordeing - Triangel Teatret-Easy Sound Recording It was established in 1974 by brothers Henrik Lund and Niels Erik Lund in the basement of their parents villa in Hellerup, a northern suburb to Copenhagen. In 1982 it was moved to central Copenhagen, into the premises of former movie theater Triangel Teatret on Østerbrogade 70 where it became the largest recording studio for rock music in Europe. During the 1990's the studio was also occasionally used as a live venue, and DR recorded the "Uden Filter" TV-programs here, a Danish parallel to "MTV Unplugged". In 1993 they founded the label Easy Records (4). The studio closed down in 2002.
