British recording & mixing studio located at the EMI House, EMI's London headquarters between 1960 and 1999 (now demolished). For the renowned studio of the same name, located in Abbey Road, please use EMI Studios. The building's stairwell was immortalized on the cover of The Beatles' first album "Please Please Me". A repeat photo was taken in 1969 for the cover of their then-intended "Get Back" album; it was not used when the project saw release as "Let It Be", but was eventually used on the retrospective albums "" and "".
