KPS

KPS (Karl Pettersens Sønner A/S) was Norway's largest manufacturer of home appliances in the 1950s and 1960s. KPS is a term for cookers and refrigerators manufactured in Norway and survived as a brand name first as its own brand after Husquarna took over the factory, but also as a term and on the used market long after the KPS brand was replaced by Swedish big brother.
