American mastering studio located in Burbank, California (aka United Sound Recorders) founded by Glen Glancy in 1969. There were four owners - Glen Glancy, Richard (last name unknown at this time), Leon Unger, and Kreel Kofford. Mastering was done on two complete Neumann "Solid State Systems." The studio had an affiliate pressing plant Phonopress Inc. The facility, having been expanded with an LP jacket and manufacturing plant, was purchased in 1977 by an investment group represented by Kreel Kofford and Glade Merkley, and the name changed to KM Records Inc.
