Femme Metal Records

A defunct independent Record Label (located in Canterbury, Kent, United Kingdom) set up by the founder of the Femme Metal WebZine, Femme Metal Forum and Femme Metal Store, Carrie Sharp, in order to promote and sign female fronted metal and rock bands. They also put on live events such as the Femme Metal Festival regular Femme Metal nights around the UK. After being laid to rest, a new agency was opened: Metal Compass. The name and concept was changed to broaden whom they work with, rather then just offering services to female fronted metal and rock bands.
