Bliss (also credited as Bliss Records on the first few releases) was a non-profit DIY tape label running between 1993 and the early 2000s, founded by Kim Harten.
The label had an overall emphasis on indiepop and noisepop, whilst also venturing into other melodic genres such as indie-rock, punk-pop, spacerock, psychedelic, progressive, folk, folk-rock and various other styles which are less easy to categorise.
Running alongside Bliss was the Aquamarine fanzine, originally a paper zine founded in 1994. After 20 paper issues, it became a webzine in the year 2000 and is still in operation today. The webzine focuses on indiepop, folk and psychedelic music on independent labels. All paper issues had Bliss catalog numbers assigned to them.
