Fillmore West
Настоящее имя: Fillmore West
After trouble from neighborhood complaints and limited capacity of the Fillmore Auditorium, Bill Graham (2) opened a new venue in San Francisco, California (previously the Carousel Ballroom) in July 1968 with capacity of 3,000 listeners.
To differ this venue from it's previously-opened New York companion, the Fillmore East, it was called the Fillmore West. After three years Graham closed the venue on July 4, 1971, shortly after the closure of the East. Frank Zappa praises Graham's work on a final concert from the East venue, you can hear it on the live album Fillmore East - June 1971.
