US-based budget LP label run by Joe Molein and Manny Koppelman. The first 20 Solitaire LP releases, costing 99 cents each, were announced as early as December 1950. The US Billboard talks about the "new diskery" and its by then 30 LPs sold at just 99 cents in its June 2, 1951 issue on page 12.
