Musicworks (subtitled "Explorations In Sound") is a Canadian music magazine from Toronto launched by Andrew Timar (editor) and John Oswald (design and production).
Musicworks published its first issue in January 1978.
Initially published four times a year, it now comes out three times each year. Each issue features interviews with artists and composers in the fields of experimental, electro-acoustic and "new" music.
Starting with issue 23 in spring 1983, Musicworks also offered a supplementary cassette with material related to each issue. Starting with issue 52 in spring 1992, the format changed to CD. The magazine is offered both with and without the supplementary recordings.
Editors have been Andrew Timar (1978-82), Tina Pearson (1982-87), Gayle Young (1987-2007), David McCallum (4) (2007-09), Micheline Roi (2009-13), and Jennie Punter beginning in 2013.
