Queens Hall, Leeds

Famous live music venue, fair and exhibition hall from 1960 until 1989. Established in a former tram shed, it became a renowned punk and later heavy metal venue, but it also hosted other artists such as the Beatles or Elton John. The venue's poor acoustics and high upkeep costs brought about its closure and the building was subsequently demolished.
