Hikō-kan Studio In 1961 Established on the site of a former movie theater in the Shimbashi, Tokyo. 1972 渡辺晋, the founder of Watanabe Productions, is appointed as CEO of the studio. 1976 Started construction of a new large-scale studio on the B3 floor of the Azabudai Building, and changed the company name to "Sound City Studio" after relocation.
