Franz Schneider Verlag

German publishing house founded 1st of April 1913 in Berlin. Core business of Franz Schneider Verlag was print and sales of children's books and mainly books for adolescents like Enid Blyton's "Hanni und Nanni"-series for girls or Oliver Hassencamp's "Burg Schreckenstein"-series for boys. Most of the popular book-series were also published as audio plays on cassette and vinyl. The family enterprise was sold 1985 to the Danish publishing group Egmont.
