Glastonbury Festival (formally Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts) is the world's largest greenfield performing arts festival, established 1970 by farm owner Michael Eavis and since the mid 2000's co-run by his daughter Emily Eavis, that takes place near Pilton, Somerset, England on Worthy Farm. Best known for its contemporary music, but also for dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, films and other arts.
