The Old Smithy Recording Studio
Настоящее имя: The Old Smithy Recording Studio
The Old Smithy Recording Studio, located in Worcestershire, UK, founded in 1977 by Muff Murfin
Malvern Hills District Council has now signed off on plans to tear down the building and build two four-bedroom houses and garages on the site, despite opposition from local residents.
Muff Murfin, who set up the studio in his back garden in 1977, said the planning application was part of a retirement plan for him and his wife Ginny.
The studio has played host over the years to:
Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Diamond Head, Robert Plant, Tony Christie, Alvin Stardust, Jaguar Brass Band, Nomad 67, English Serenetta, The Drifters, Handsome Beasts and Edwin Starr, to name a few.
