Ångström Mastering

Mastering and cutting studio based in Brussels (Belgium), founded in 2006 by Ångström Records and operated by Frédéric Alstadt and Nicolas Esterle. Services include: master lacquer cutting, digital mastering, summing/stem mastering, audio restauration, editing, DDP export, DVD authoring, sound art design and high end recording. The cutting system is a Neumann AM32b with Stuka pitch controler and Neumann SX74 & SAL74 modified amplifiers. In 2020 an analog transfer and processing section was set up called Mont Analogue. It appears etched in the matrix as: - Å BXL - ÅNGSTRÖM - ÅNGSTRÖM BXL - ÅNGSTRÖM MASTERING Engineers who worked here and their signatures: - Frédéric Alstadt (FA or an arrow pointing down left), - Yann de Kéroullas (Yann Dub or Yann) between 2009 and 2012, - Frederic Stader (FST) since 2018.
