Edgewood Recording Studios

Recording company. Sometimes referred to as Edgewood Recording Studios, Inc. Founded in the 1950's by Edward J, Greene, Charles Osgood and George Wilkins. Started out at 1129 Vermont Ave. N.W. Washington D.C. and later moved to 1627 K St. N.W. Stopped operations in the early 1970's. Very prolific output including many well known artists as well as many obscure no hitters that were issued only as acetates. A partial list of some of the more obscure acts: Renee Acker, Jimmy Armstrong, Cashmeres (Hem), Steve Charles & The Statics, Ronnie Dove & The Belltones, The Four Bars, Hayze, Henchmen, Looms, Malibus, Nautiloids, Newports, Novells, Billy Storm & The Tempests, Jay Wiggins, The Young Senators.
