Workshoppe Recording Studios
Настоящее имя: Workshoppe Recording Studios
NYC studio in Douglaston Manor (Queens) founded in 1974 by the sound engineers Kevin Kelly and Jeff Kracke.
In 1974, Kevin Kelly, started a recording studio in Bayside Queens called "The Recording Workshop" as a sole proprietorship. It was there that he recorded and mixed "The Betrock Tapes" with Blondie.
In partnership with Jeff Kracke the studio was renamed "The Workshoppe Recording Studios Inc" in 1975, and went on to service many local and major label clients for many years including Edgar Winter's "Standing on Rock" [m286296], Rick Wakeman's "The Burning" Soundtrack [m236747] and countless others.
Kevin Kelly, Jeff Kracke and Rob Bengston also produced and engineered the WLIR-FM live concert series that emanated (mostly) from My Father's Place in Roslyn, NY. These shows included Charlie Daniels Band, Billy Joel, Hall & Oates, The Police and ran from the mid seventies through the eighties.
